From the Desk of the CEO

I.S.A.A.C 98.1 FM “the Promise” marked its 10th anniversary on the same day that our nation marked its 50th year of Independence. I.S.A.A.C, an arm of the Family-Focus Broadcasting Network (FBN), is committed to playing its role in the continued development of the nation through programming that focuses on building strong, close-knit families, where every member can contribute meaningfully to the productivity of our nation.

As a gospel radio station, we have been fulfilling the mandate for which we were called. That is, to provide inspirational, spirit-led, anointed, appointed and Christ-centered programming to Trinidad & Tobago, and by extension, the world, via our live stream.   The past ten years has been a period of major growth, development and divine expression within FBN and I.S.A.A.C. We have seen the hand of God in our organization, and in the nation, in the midst of challenging and perilous times. Indeed, God has established this network for a time such as this that we may continue to give hope even as circumstances around us seem to indicate the contrary.

As our name states, Family-Focus is about building strong families. As such, our programmes are designed to target the entire family from Kingdom Kids, Tweens, Youth in Focus, YaDas—young adults, to Forever Young—those 55 years and over. Special emphasis is given to the men in our society with the programme MEN TALK. It provides a forum where men openly share their concerns and hurts, and discuss the way forward in taking a position of leadership and authority in the home and society. At FBN, prayer is our foundation. We believe that prayer changes things and we trust God’s word which promises to bring healing to the land, starting with our families (2 Cor 7:14).

I.S.A.A.C 98.1FM was positioned in the MFO 2012 survey as the second most listened to station among the nation’s 38 radio frequencies, and number one on Saturdays and Sundays in the last national media survey. This is a significant accomplishment for a gospel-exclusive station and for this I say thank you to the FBN family. Our employees are a group of highly committed, efficient and motivated people. Our success is an outflow of the synergy, passion, performance, prayer and commitment of the employees of FBN. And for their unwavering dedication, I say thank you.

As President, Founder and CEO of FBN, I send thanks to the board of directors, managers, staff, intercessors, contributors, on-air ministers, listeners and well-wishers for supporting us throughout our journey. May God’s blessing, grace and love continue to abound toward you.

Dr. Margaret Elcock,

Founder, President & CEO
The Family-Focus Broadcasting Network
